need a lift?

Nature is one of the most simple and beautiful things in the world and it shouldn't be taken for granted. Researchers suggest that spending time outdoors can give you a mental health boost and impact your mood positively. Considering the many benefits of being outdoors, it's important to set aside time for some fresh air.

5 minutes : Improve your sense of self-worth & lift your mood.

10 minutes : Getting connected with nature will help you feel bonded and also help trigger your care for other people.

15 minutes : A simple way to boost brainpower. Fresh air will help clear your mind and improve concentration

20 minutes : Feel more energized by immersing yourself in nature.

the weekend is here!

What is your happy place? Think about the one place worth taking a trip and make an effort to squeeze a short visit in your agenda. When living in a city that requires a lot of driving throughout the day, it's easy to forget how refreshing a slight detour can be when the one thing that is usually on mind is to go home.

My happy place: Park Avenue, Winter Park.

Like most of the spots in Orlando/Winter Park, this street is filled with nostalgia and memories from my childhood. Stopped by one of my favorite bakeries, Croissant Gourmet, to grab a quick bite for my brother and I.

Blueberries are a perfect summertime treat and they contain more antioxidants than most other fruits and vegetables. In addition, berries are a great pick-me-up because it can help improve your mood and energy.

Here some ways to add blueberries to your day:
- Blend into a shake
- Make a healthy pancake
- Add to a bowl of cereal or oatmeal
- Place into low-fat yogurt
